Clinical case – Mediastinal Carcinoma
Age: 80 years old
Coming from the countryside.
Reason why consults:
Dry cough irritative and persistent

Nothing relevant.
Present illness’ history
She starts in August, 2002 with dry cough irritative,
persistent and progressive what motivates her to consult to the
doctor, who recommends her thorax radiography. Later a biopsy is
ordered., which shows several fragments and a atypical ephitelium
proliferation.
Because of her age it is decided not to do radio
or chimiotherapy.
22/2/2005- she starts with Basqüadé: 60 drops 4 times
a day. The next month she already notices a decrease in her cough,
an increase in the appetite and of the general condition. 2 months
later, the cough dissapears and she continues with a good general
condition
14/04/2005 – A new thorax radiography is done
and shows that there is a decrease in the mediastinal compromise
August. 2005 – She continues our treatment
with Basqüadé, she doesn’t cough and she keeps
an acceptable quality of life
Conclusion
Patient 80 years old, without history of illness
in the family or personally. She is diagnosed a tumor in the mediastine
and her clinical symptoms are cough irritative, persistent and progressive
.
She loses weight for 3 years without any specific
oncologic treatment, starting on the 22nd of February with Basqüadé
improving considerably of her cough which dissapears, improving
her appetite and general condition, besides comparing the thorax
radiographies it is seen a decrease in the expansive process.
We can see the efficiency of the product and the
illness drawing back, improving the quality of life and a very thankful
patient.
